Growing independently in large areas around the globe, agriculture has provided human beings with essential needs for food and livelihood security. Beginning thousands of years ago, this biodiversity has helped our species to expand from hunter-gatherer societies to a sedentary human civilization living in large urban cities.
In Nat Bio, our aim is to ensure that people today are nourishing their bodies with natural foods for their overall health and well-being. Our ambition is to extend the variety of our bread to a completely wide range of bakery goods.
Nat-Bio was founded in 2013 by Mario Mrad who has a lifelong passion for food and farming. His mission is to spread the importance of organic food products in Lebanon in view of the rapid increase of the fast food industry. His search led him to reintroduce to the market the world’s most ancient wheat and the only wheat that has never been hybridized. The Einkorn wheat was almost close to extinction a few years ago but Nat Bio’s objective is to make sure that it makes its way back to our tables.
